To my outgoing 5th graders - Thank you for a terrific year! You were a super group of ladies and gentlemen who grew and matured before my very eyes. This year we shared laughs and tears, exciting victories and broken bones, fun field trips and challenging tests - what a year! I am proud of each and every one of you! Enjoy your summer - you deserve it - and best of luck to each of you in 6th grade!

Can you out-read me this summer? I LOVE to read and read ALL summer! I challenge you to read more books than I do this summer. Make a list of all the books that you read (include any you read for Mrs. Yackshaw, Border's, or the public library) and bring in to me on the *First* day of school. If you beat me - I have a prize for you!
