So far…

Thank you to everyone who has made a pledge and/or donation to the “Our Parish Family, Our Faith, Our Future” Capital Campaign!  Much has been accomplished at St. Paul Church and School with the funds that have been received.  The school window replacement and LED lighting upgrade projects have been COMPLETED.  The Harmon Street parking lot project has been started and payments have been made to the Diocese toward our obligation from the Diocesan 2005 Capital Campaign.

In process…

The Harmon Street parking lot project is set to move into high gear in April, right after Easter.  The existing parking area between Harmon and Maple streets and the two alleys will be closed for several months as the work is done.  This will affect parking for our regular Masses, First Communion, weddings, pre-school and the Main Street businesses.  St. Paul will be working with the YMCA and the City of North Canton to identify alternate parking areas.  A special thanks to the Hoover Foundation, the City of North Canton and the Community Improvement Corporation for their contributions toward the enhancement of the parking lot.

What’s Next…

The development of the preschool playground and remodeled preschool entrance are currently being studied.  The addition of air conditioning for the school buildings is also one of the next projects.  Regular, quarterly payments to our obligation to the Diocese will continue.

Down the Road…

As stated in the Capital Campaign Case Statement, additional projects at the school and church will be completed as funding permits.  These include sidewalk repair, restroom upgrades and Legacy and Endowment funding.

How Can I Help?  By continuing to make your Capital Campaign pledge payments.  This is vital to our accurate planning and to keep the projects progressing in a timely manner.  Hundreds of families did not participate in the Capital Campaign–now may be the time to make a pledge or gift to the campaign!  You can do so by using the green envelope in your offertory packet, logging on to the Parish EGiving and using the capital campaign option, bringing your gift to the parish office or contacting Fr. Jay.

Thank you to everyone who is helping to make these projects a reality!  The St. Paul Parish Community is truly blessed by the dedication and commitment of so many parishioners!
